Hello,

I am a journalist with four years of experience covering a wide variety of stories. I'm passionate about people-centered reporting and giving a platform to the marginalized and unheard. I believe good journalism engages with the community and their concerns. Good reporting takes hard work—and I'm willing to put in that work.

With degrees in Literature & Theory and French from William Jewell College, I've been able to study how others use their words and language to tell their story. I've studied in Kansas City, Missouri; Oxford, England; and Paris, France. Each place gave me a unique perspective that I use in my writing. Even still, Kansas City is the place I call home. I'm dedicated to finding and writing about what matters to the city in a way that engages community members to get involved and make a change.

Below you'll find a sampling of my work with links to where the stories were originally published. I hope to hear from you via the contact page!
